After a long week, it's always good to unwind and relax. Making time for family and friends is always a great way to spend the weekend. You and your squad should definitely get adventurous and try new things when you have free time. Here's 7 inexpensive experiences you ought to do with your friends the next time you get together.

1) Party Room Malaysia

This is Malaysia's first interactive party room equipped with various rooms with fun games, activities and challenges. With games like Floor Curling, Whack-a-Mole, 3D Twister, Giant Jenga, Crazy Ball, Arcade, Karaoke Box, Pong Table, L-Shaped Pool, Blow Soccer and board games, it's hard to decide where to start. Definitely recommend Whack-a-Mole if you want to whack your friends and rainy bike to get each other wet! From prices as low as RM25 an hour, you can have fun challenging your friends with no worries about breaking the bank. We do not take any responsibilities if friendships are broken due to the high rate of competition!

2) Sip & Paint

KL's first "Sip & Paint" workshop is here and you and your friends can not only spend the weekend painting interesting pictures while getting tipsy but make new friends too! It's only RM130, every session comes with a free glass of wine, free flow on non-alcoholic beverages and all art materials are provided so no need to whine about your dried up brushes which you haven't touched since sekolah menengah! They also encourage you to bring your own bottle of wine and if you come in a group of 5, free bottle of wine GET CRUNK!

After 3 glasses of wine:

3) Orang Asli Craft Museum

Getting in touch with a little history through art is always better than flipping through your old Serajah textbooks with your friends. The Orang asli Craft Museum located at Jabatan Muzium Malaysia, Jalan Damansara, KL allows you to learn about the Orang Asli tribes of Malaysia through interactive exhibits like traditional musical instruments and hunting tools with intricately produced carvings and handcrafts! Entry is only RM2 for MyKad holders.

Dear Art made by Orang Asli,

4) Conquer a damn vicious river!

If you and your friends are not afraid to get wet and dirty ;) then Xventure Mind puts you on a raft and takes you down Kuala Kubu Bharu river and Ulu Slim river. Your squad can decide on the level of difficulty ranging from Class II, Class III and Class IV. Instead of doing the same shit every night at different clubs, get your adrenaline going by taking a trip with tiny drops, huge splashes and some tough corners! We dare you. Prices start at RM150 with a minimum of 5 per raft so that's only RM30 per person.

Not for the faint-hearted or anyone interested in this:

5) Hauntu Malaysia

ree

Hauntu Malaysia is the first interactive horror experience and it's definitely going to scare you and make you sweat. Make sure you put your most chicken friend in front because Hauntu really makes you feel like you're in a horror escape movie. The actors interact with you and it's even more fun if you really get in character and work together to find Date Lokman, the owner of The Colle Eastern Hotel's suite and steal his gold bars. The choices you make determine your fate!

6) Cooking Class at Iloha Culture Centre The best part about taking a cooking class with your friends is the whole lot of eating that's going to come after. Iloha means ‘ABC’ in traditional Japanese and here, you can learn about Asian cultures, languages and cooking. If you're like most millennials who learn better by actually doing it, classes are only RM130. Learn how to make kimchi mandu, tempura, homemade udon, dakgangjeong (Koreanstyle popcorn chicken), matcha strawberry roll cake and more without any fear of setting your whole kitchen on fire.

This could be you after 1 class:

JK, don't try this at home.

7) Bubble-Ball

If you have a bigger group for birthdays or something along the lines of futsal, head to Arena 51 for a more interesting way of scoring a goal! In this Bubble Arena, your friends will be safely strapped into a bubble, so perfect for introverts too. Get into two teams of 5 and challenge each other in futsal, rugby and tower defense (where you have to protect your team’s king). Game marshals will be on site to brief you about the rules before each match and referees will keep an eye on the score; so all you need to do is bounce around and have fun! Bonus points for knocking into your friends, try getting up in that ball, it's tough and funny if it doesn't happen to you. Packages start at RM620.

Definitely my bestie & I once we're bubbled up:

Whatever you choose to do with your friends, make sure you have fun and create awesome memories so you can look back in your senior years and laugh.
